I'm a backend engineer from Shiraz. I started in 2020 building front-ends for clients on Freelancer.com, joined Derak Cloud as an intern a year later, and ended up leading its core and automation team.

Most of my work lives where nobody looks until something breaks: provisioning, event streams, load balancers and health checks. I like making those fast, automatic and boring in the best way.

  1. May 2024 - Feb 2025

    Head of Core and Automation

    • Led a core-services team of four engineers: technical direction, agile ceremonies and mentoring. Raised delivery velocity by about 30%.
    • Built an IaaS automation layer on Xen and ESXi for one-click provisioning, reset and graceful shutdown. VM operations went from 15 minutes to under 90 seconds.
    • Made Apache Kafka the platform's central event bus, now carrying 2M+ messages a day under 50ms.
  2. Jul 2022 - May 2024

    Full Stack Developer

    • Load balancing that reroutes requests to healthy node instances during failures.
    • GitLab CI/CD pipeline wired to a custom CLI for production and test deploys.
    • Health check system for many service types, with configurable intervals and regex service matching.
  3. Jul 2021 - Jul 2022

    Backend Developer

    • Automated billing in Node.js and Redis: usage metering, surplus refunds and a custom plan calculator.
    • Resilient Python and gRPC layer for communication between microservices.
  4. Mar 2021 - Jun 2021

    Frontend Developer (Intern)

    • Custom m3u8 video player in Vue.js and Vuetify with a live-streaming control panel.
